Tujuh PSK dan Cewek Kafe Positif HIV
Tabanan, Penyebaran virus HIV/AIDS di Bali semakin mengkhawatirkan.
Hasil pemeriksaan darah terakhir menunjukkan, 7 pekerja seks komersial
dan cewek kafe di Tabanan positif terjangkit virus HIV.
Hasil pemeriksaan darah terhadap PSK Pesiapan dan cewek Kafe yang
digelar di Kafe Joged menunjukkan hasil yang mengkhawatirkan. Dari 38
orang yang diperiksa, 7 orang positif HIV-AIDS.
Hal itu diungkapkan oleh Dr Nyoman Suratmika selaku Kepala Bidang
Pemberantasan Penyakit dan Penyehatan Lingkungan Dinas Kesehatan
Tabanan, Rabu (4/2) .
Dikatakannya, tujuh cewek yang positif HIV/AIDS itu adalah cewek di
komplek pelacuran Terminal Pesiapan Tabanan atau yang lebih dikenal
dengan TPI (Terminal Pesiapan Indah), dan cewek yang bekerja di
beberapa kafe.
Suratmika menyayangkan belum semua PSK dan cewek kafe dapat dites
darahnya. Dari sekitar 80 orang yang akan diperiksa, ternyata yang
berhasil diperiksa cuma 38 orang. Yang lainnya kabur dengan berbagai
alasan seperti ada yang sudah dibooking (dipesan) pelanggan. Ada juga
yang mengaku harus siap-siap melayani tamu.
" Sebagian besar kabur, jika semua dites pasti hasilnya akan berbeda,"

need co-operation, not conflict. It requires great courage in such
difficult days as the present to speak of peace and co-operation. It
is more easy to talk of enemies, of conflict and war. We should try to
resist that temptation. Our attempt should always be to co-operate, to
bring together people, to establish friendship and have some kind of a
right world in which we can live together in happiness, harmony and
friendship. Let us therefore realize that this increasing maturity
should express itself in this capacity to understand what other points
of view are'.
