Anton,

Kalau mau ikut gimana caranya? Aku bisanya di luar Senin sampe Rabu. Semoga kali ini aku bener-bener bisa ikut.
In solidarity..

Semeton sami,PALEG - 5 December 2008The road looked fine at first till the car could not move any longer. The people were so anxious to get us up there to their village cluster, they carried shovel and started to clear the road but the car just could not make it.We had to walk up the dangerous winding small scenic path to reach the village cluster accompanied by the Klian Adat.... and when we got up there..... what we saw....people (babies, children, youth, mothers, fathers, grand fathers/mothers), dogs, cows, chickens live without barrier, sanitation is poor, health is unheard of, the postnatal mortality rate is still high, some children were wondering without clothes... school is too far for the children to walk to so they tried to equiped the banjar with desks and banks for 1 - 2 grades totalling 40 children... the banjar is one on the few building made of batako and the rest were huts of 'bedeg' (weaving bamboo) and 'klangsah' (roof of dried thatch coconut leaves); sleeping and cooking in the same limited space... These people learned not to hope.... no opportunity were even regarded as an intiative policy or a path to pursue....Please my good friends, anything you can share.... use clothes for babies, children and adults... used toys... anything... just for a beginning of teaching them HOPE....It is not about what we have done, but what we can do..........
